The Hawthorne Elementary project was created in conjunction with Lawrence Pitre and the Hawthorne elementary students. The project revolved around the question "what does culture mean to you and your family?" The pieces were created during black history month to include all races and promote togetherness between cultures. Each piece was created by an individual grade ranging from kindergarten to the fifth grade.
